Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you will find a sample of the work I have done in the past several years through school projects, projects I have done at my various jobs, and projects I have done on the side.
As my resume shows, I have over a year of experience working full time maintaining the School Bus Sales web site, two years of experience working as a student for the College of Education – Office of Student Field Experience as a web designer, and one year of experience as a web designer at the Center for Educational Technology – Production House. I have also gained real world experience through projects I have done as part of my graduate course work at the University of Northern Iowa. Through these experiences I have learned many skills that cannot be learned in the classroom. I learn quickly and research to find solutions to problems that I have not previously encountered. I enjoy working with people uncomfortable with computers and can answer their questions and show them how to use programs in a way that they can understand and be able to do on their own. I have also learned many essential skills for any type of work through my work as a supervisor in UNI's Reading Clinic, most importantly, communication and organizational skills. I am responsible, goal driven, motivated, and determined to do the best job I know how.
I give 100% of myself to each new challenge I face and I know that I will be a great asset to your team.
